Founder Steve Kurkul served in leadership roles governing health claims prior to starting CBA. On a routine basis he would have clients calling for claim analysis and information. Steve formed Corporate Benefit Audits, Inc. in 1992 to meet that demand.
As medical costs escalated, the need for CBA’s advanced claim analysis expanded into services sought by many risk bearers protecting corporate liabilities. This early identification and management of catastrophic risk required sophisticated talent, resources and technologies – the hallmarks of CBA services.
